Costa Rica Volunteer Work for Vets

Costa Rica has become a popular holliday destination and is often described as Paradise. For many streetdogs the reality is less colorful. Read more on Costa Rica volunteer work for vets and learn about the outreach program that was organized to help these animals.

For 2010 spay / neuter clinics were organized throughout the country, to help to improve animal welfare. At these projects we charge less than $15 to spay / neuter a dog or cat. Because of our low prices we make it possible for every Tico (e.g. Costa Rican) to bring his or her animal to be neutered or spayed. Through private donations we can also help ownerless animals, providing MEDICAL CARE FOR EVERY ANIMAL IN NEED. And these spay neuter clinics DO MAKE A DIFFERENCE. There is a significant decrease in the street (or beach) dog and cat population in the places we visit on a regular basis.
